About Belfield Childcare
Our state of the art child day care centre Belfield has been purpose built to comply with the high-quality standards set by the department of community services. Our Belfield childcare is ideally situated within suburban surroundings and is just a short drive from All Saints Grammar School, Belmore Boy’s High School and Belmore South Public School.
Our child care centre in Belfield looks after up to 40 children per day aged from 0-6 years. The building and play areas are designed to be modern, safe, clean and inviting. There is plenty of street parking available for parents. We aim to provide a stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors where learning is a pleasure. Children are encouraged to explore, play and learn within the safe and comfortable environment we have created at Belfield.
Our Educators
We have an experienced and talented team of educators, all of which are fully qualified. Our educators are passionate about creating a safe, secure environment where every child feels welcome and encouraged to learn. Our educators remain up to date with the latest developments in early childhood education. Educators at our childcare centre in Belfield have also undergone CPR, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training.
Curriculum
Like all our centres, our Belfield location has a play based curriculum that follows the Early Years Learning Framework. Our curriculum is graduated, with different activities offered for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers that are appropriate to their age and learning ability. Your child will be encouraged to play, learn, explore and express ideas at their own pace. Our curriculum equips children with the knowledge, confidence and ability to succeed during the transition to school.
Community at Belfield Daycare
The community at our child care centre in Belfield is friendly and welcoming. Our educators develop a strong level of trust with each child and encourage family involvement. Throughout the year we also invite local community organizations to visit our Belfield child care centre. These organisations and incursions include reptile shows, animal farm, chicken hatching, life savers, local schools, police and ambulance and much more. We believe in the power of networking and community engagement to support our education program and help children develop new interests and learning skills.
Meals
Star Academy Kids Belfield has a qualified in-house chef. Your child will be provided with healthy and delicious meals including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. The menu is rotational with all meals following the Munch and Move program. We can accommodate for specific dietary requirements.
