At Star Academy Kids, we’re dedicated to making exceptional early learning accessible and affordable for our families. The new Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Australian Government that helps you manage the cost of child care. It’s paid directly to your approved child care provider, like Star Academy Kids, and then passed on to you as a fee reduction.
We understand that navigating the new child care subsidy and related entitlements can feel complex, and our supportive team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring clarity and peace of mind.

Am I Eligible for child care subsidy?
Children must be 13 or younger and not attending secondary school, unless an exemption applies.
The child must meet immunisation requirements or have an exemption.
You must be responsible for paying the child care fees.
You must meet residency requirements.
This determines the percentage of subsidy you’re eligible for.
This measures the level of ‘recognised’ activities* by you and your partner, which then determines the number of subsidised hours you can receive.
*Recognised activities include paid work, self-employment, study, training, volunteering, and other approved activities.
The subsidy applies to approved child care services, which Star Academy Kids is.

While we can’t provide specific financial advice, the Australian Government’s Services Australia website offers a helpful Payment and Service Finder tool. This tool can give you an estimate of your potential Child Care Subsidy based on your family’s circumstances.
We encourage you to visit the Services Australia website or contact Centrelink directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your CCS entitlement. Our team at Star Academy Kids is always here to support you with any questions about our fees and how CCS applies.
